First of all ....... Thanks for the nudge Buf!

Today is the first day of the rest of my life. No more looking back (apart from looking back to saturday 14th January 2006 and my 'encounter' with Johnny!!!!), only looking forward.

Random fact of the day ...... If someone posts a card to Australia weighing 25g it will cost £1.12. No, that is not the random fact lol, this is ...... If they pay with a £5 note they will get £3.88 change which is one of every coin (ie 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2).

Bet you wish you did not nudge me now Buf lol

Told you I would waffle a lot!
Sitting here earlier and Joei's phone rang and she said "Why are you phoning me?". Time we realised that I was not sitting on my phone but that I had actually lost it, Joei's phone had stopped! We kept calling my phone from hers but getting the answer machine. Eventually it rang and a man answered. Quick as a flash I said "You got my phone!" It was the bus driver from the bus we caught home from Fleet. He had been going through my address book trying to track me! We have agreed that I will meet him down Farnborough thursday morning to get my phone (he has tomorrow off)!

Saw a book today - "101 things to do before you die". Gave me the idea of compiling my own list of things I have not done yet but want to.

1) be a grandmother (but that one is out of my hands ;o) )

2) move to The Isle of Wight

3) hot air balloon ride

4) go to a GP (fingers crossed for next year)

5) visit Canada - particularly Toronto

Any suggestions?
